Salvaged Title.

So, I was looking to buy a G35.

I found a 2006 G35 Coupe.
Black on Black.
43,000 miles.
Fully Loaded.
Manual.

However, it was salvaged title.
No Frame Damage, passenger side was T-Boned.

seller was asking 14,000.

What wouldve been a good price to pay for this?

THANKS

It's worth about ten grand. Make sure it's something you realy want, you're not going to get a flood of buyers wanting to take it off your hands if you change your mind.

Thumbs up

Hmm, Bought mine in Brooklyn (That was 2 years ago)

06 G35 Coupe, Stolen and Recovered

only 3,000 miles when i got it

Car has no damaged whatsoever,
Got it for 21,500$

Salvage title was issued because it was stolen in Pennsylvania,

But hey, for the price,, had the car 2 years never had no prob

But As they say, if you plan on keeping the car a very long time, id say it dosnt matter,

If you plan on reselling, i would consider paying a little extra and get a clean title, Alot easyer to resell.

Your car is different, your car was stolen and recovered, so there was no accidents involved and it was new, only 3k miles at the time you purchased.

OP car was involved in an accident, I'd say NO. Dont buy any cars that have involved in accident, especially by the side.

I'd pass on the vehicle and get one that has a clean title. My old G was in a major accident and still had a clean title. The car never drove the same and was dangerous in wet weather. The vdc also always kicked in when cornering when it shouldn't.

For your safety and your passenger's safety, buy a used G without damage.

NEVER BUY A CAR THAT IS SALVAGED!! if you're gonna be cheap and buy a salvaged car you shouldnt have it. Buy one off a lot. Never buy a smashed car.

Friend bought a salvaged 350Z, he literally tore the interior carpets out and found mold. He was so pissed. He spent a few thousand just cleaning out the car along with his friend's mechanic. His car is sick now, but when he bought it, he was so stressed out over this.

If you plan on buying a salvaged, make sure its something you really want and knock 1000-2000 more dollars off that 14K price.

With that said, buying used is still a pretty good deal. Ive been seeing 06 G35C under 50K miles going for 17K around MA and Ebay.
