Question What do you think of this 2006 G35 Coupe? (50K miles)

It's a 2006 black on tan with black rims, certified pre-owned. What do you guys think? How much should I offer?

Really? Was yours certified pre-owned? I believe the value of G35 Coupes has (unfortunately for me) risen due to the economy and summer season. KBB has that car at 22,855 in excellent condition and Edmunds has CPO 06 with 50K miles priced at $21,283

wait till winter time when car sales go really down

i kno the wait will kill you lol
or just wait a few more months until you find an 06
with slighter lower miles

Spend 25K then. That much sould get you a fully loaded, sport & premium package low mileage 06. Well worth the money.

milage is nothing on a car. When you drive 50+ miles a day one way to work, its no wear on the car. Being that the car is only an 06, you know it wasn't driven hard "in the city" where its stop and go. To be honest this is a great car to get, and with that milage you can actually bargain him to under 20K. Go for it!

1. its automatic. to each his own, i guess!
2. in general, i figure that a car that is stock is usually less fcked with than a car with mods. rims are pretty standard, though... just make sure you know how to inspect a car well!

3. for that many miles, i wouldnt offer more than 21k, IMO. remember, that certified pre-owned warranty goes out the door if you plan on modding it alot.

Thanks 1cleanG. I actually went today and fell in love with the car. I was hesitant about the rims (preferred the stock 19" rims) but the black rims with chrome lip really complement the car extremely well. Thank you to you and everyone who posted in my threads. I appreciate everyone's opinion.

1. I'm aware it's automatic
2. There has been only one owner. She was a 35 year old woman that used the car for "business" so most of the mileage conisted of highway miles. The black rims were put on by Infiniti, not her.
3. I bought it for 21. I know, I know, I overpaid but I'm happy with it. I look forward to owning my first G35 and I can have the luxury of driving it all summer!

Also, I don't really plan to do any mods. I'm happy with the rims. I will probably buy a spare set of wheels for the winter. That's about it

The wheels look pretty nasty.

Auto cars tend to go for quite a bit less than manual sport package cars of the same year/condition/mileage. I picked up an '06 with 40k miles 6 MT with every option except Navi a few months ago for $20k, so I'd think it's priced a little high, even being CPO.

LOL, I love how they mention the tachometer in the list of options.

Gee does it come with a spedometer too?

Thought I'd hate them but, the wheels do complement the car. As long as you're happy, welcome to the family. Enjoy that beast. Keep it waxed.
