That's correct.

The point of PowerLab and what we do at Intensepower is to make the most amount of power with the least amount of boost. This equation (in combination with the end user respecting the idea that they now have a high compression, n/a factory built motor now turbo charged) gives the owner the best chance at having not only little to no problems with maintenance, but also increases hugely the possibility of never blowing the motor. Many shops out there will try to talk their customers into replacing a huge amount of the stock parts without having a real reason to other than the fact that they're either overcompensating for their poor tuning and/or trying to fill their pockets with your money. We are completely against either idea as evidence of our customers' builds as well as our own G35 coupe which makes 900whp and has stock sleeves, stock head gaskets, and stock crank.

Efficient turbo system coupled with efficient engine management and a competent tuner = great success!

Wow... that utec sounds pretty slick. Its like a piggy-standy-aloney-backy... lol. So, from what I was reading, that utec makes it possible to actually be running a "street tune" so to speak and a "race tune" at the same time and the ecu switches to either one, automatically, at a given situation?

How does it do this? At a given RPM? So, if you're sitting at a stop light and billy bad@ss with his gt mustang romps on it, and you romp on it, it switches to your "race tune" automatically? Also, with the ability to change the maps... Can this be done on the fly? Or, is it something where you can change the map, then have to do a reset of the ECU, and then the new map is "loaded?"

I'd imagine it is controlled by some electric device, as to get it tuned it must be connected to a laptop or something.

So out of cuiousity, what does utec have? Does it have like boost control in gears? or is that for only standalones?

And what kind of stock sleeves do g35s have? Do we have iron ductile sleeves? Cool to here we could just throw pistons in!!!

^^^Hmm.... i see on the utec for WRX's gives you the option of boost control through RPM/ Throttle Position (im giessing through the TPS), but it doesnt say anything about that for our car's utec.

very clean install. Post some vids inside the cabin when you hit boost. Just hit the freeway at night or something.

edit: 5AT is no fun.

Do you have a tranny temp guage? I plan on installing one in addition to a cooler when my build starts.

Which vb did you go with and how smooth are the shifts now compared to stock?

And how soon can you have a video up? I'd like to check out your car in action if you don't mind. I also own a 5AT and PL kit was one I'm interested in if I go single turbo over twins.

How hot do the temps get under the hood and what did Intense do to keep your temps in check?

Don't have a tranny temp gauge... Went with the Stillen VB, that was the one they recommended.... seems to be doing fine. I can feel the difference the shifts are stiffer.

Not having any problems with heat... the Intercooler is huge other than that nothing special.

I keep saying I'm going to get a video up but just have not done it yet... I can tell you the difference is night and day. I have so much more torque then before... very quick to spool up. It will put you back in your seat.

I really really need bigger tires... I have ordered my new rims and will get more rubber when they come in. I had to scoot through an intersection a little faster then normal other day and slid a bit making left turn, chirped em going into second.

Wow you slid through the turn? That's crazy. Do you feel like you have to relearn how to drive the car again? Also, how smooth does the car drive now vs stock?
