ditto . . . Lol . . . If you're waiting for a light to tell you when to shift, you might as well be driving an automatic. For whatever reason, if that light goes out, bad things are going to happen while waiting for it to come on.
Driving by feel and sound is my preferred way of driving a manual. Been doing it this way for 30+ years. I hope people are not staring at their instrument pods, while driving, looking for the next shift indication.

Amen to that, and I hadn't driven a manual since the 90's. Takes a little while to get used to feeling the car but, when you do, all is fine.
