ecu codes 0345x2 and 0327

car is hesitant to start have vdc off slip and service engine lights on.went to autozone used there obdII reader got code 0345 cam position sensor bank A twice and 0327 knock sensor. anyone know where these sensors are located on the engine itself. ie back side, front side, bottom, top and if they are easy to get to or is it a pain in the a$$? i reset the codes with the reader no lights but car is still hesitant to start ill get it a day and see if the lights come back.

ohh yea and if the car is built before jul3102 the knock sensor is 149 and after jul3102 its only 33.89

wish me luck

assuming bank A is bank 1, when viewed from the front of the car it is on your left. the cam sensors are on top of the head, in back. they are held on with 1 10mm bolt. you can get to it with the car on the ground, engine cover removed.

just had the same cam postion sensor code in my 03 few days ago and then car died so i took it to nissan dealership locally and had them change both cam sensors... cost me $390 could done it myself for bout $180 but its 98 outside with a heat index of 110s right now so i gladly paid them to fix it....

but now i have the knock sensor bank 1 code and an evap code..... after reading i think they could have knocked a vacuum line loose for the evap code? does that sound right? plan on taking back to them in the morning

evap yes, could have been caused by a vacuum line. the knock sensor is buried under the lower intake plenum, so thats not their fault
