First thing to go on a G35 cooling system is the thermostat.. It happened to me, i had coolant, radiator fans still working, no leaks, so that pointed me to the thermostat. Thats the gateway door for your coolant to flow to the engine.. 40 bucks for the part and you can find a video on youtube how to replace it. Took me 10 mins and solved the overheating problem instantly
