question about the G
Re: question about the G
Where do you live?
How much do you drive?
How much of your driving is city, how much is highway?
Do you commute, how far?
Theres alot of questions you'd need to answer before someone could just tell you if a G is right for you all year round. Do you mind buying winter tires? Are you used to powerful RWD cars in poor weather? These types of answers would greatly help out.

Re: question about the G
G35 is my daily driver and I live in NYC/Boston, which means heavy winters, strong rains, and constant weather change. If you get a G35, make sure you have $$ ($1500 for 17" tires w/rim) set aside for winter tires if you live in a place that gets snow. Its too dangerous to drive the G35 in heavy snow, unless you get the G35x. Also if you buy the G, get the 18" rim+ tire pkg...worth the $$ and handles well in the rain.
The only downside to having a G35 as a daily is that its not worth it to have a nice car in a big city. Huge gaping potholes, a*shole drivers who'll scratch your car, and jealous kids who'll key it. But then again, i'm sure that can be said for non-city places. And EX250 is right, you need to put more details in your post before we can give you a well-thought out response.

Re: question about the G
Thanks for your help. and since you live in Boston/NYC, I think I can be able to manage it with the G35 coupe since I am in Chicago and drive/communte 20miles a day and the roads are well cleaned but lot of salt. Also, would the situation be the same with the 350z? Or would it be impossible to drive that car in winter. Thanks again for your input.
Re: question about the G
I'm in Minneapolis so I think the weather is about the same as Chicago. I've had the G coupe since last October and I usually commute around 40-50 miles a day. With a set of 17" winter tires/wheels, I've had no problems last winter. And it was one of the more snowy winters we've had in several years.
I think the G coupe makes a fine daily driver (if you get winter tires) and I have a blast every day driving it.
