Has anyone ordered this from Grubbs Infiniti?

For $39.99, that is much better than what StrictlyZ is selling for! but probably it will require cutting to fit.

yeah.. i believe it's just the kit that japanparts has always been selling.. only downfall is that it will require the cutting.. jus take a lot of precautions before you start cutting the metal..

I would cut the plastic, not the metal.
Also you will need various pop clips, plugs & a bracket

UMMM....The one from strictly z does not require cutting...

 

I emailed Grubbs to see if it's a direct fit. I haven't heard from them so, I'm assuming you have to do some mod to make it fit...

That's because they have done it for you. They bring in the JDM product & modify it. They also include all the hardware.

That's why it's more money.
I normally do everything myself.....
But, on this one I went he easy route with Strickly Z

yup....no hassle cutting the cover. StrictlyZ's driver side battery cover is a direct bolt-on. Nice and clean!!!!

Golden Gate G35 Club

 

I installled the right side battery cover from Strictly Z in 15 minutes or less. It required a bit of clean up on the plastic where it was cut but it looks and fit OEM.

Worth the extra cost IMHO

All of the covers, no matter where you buy them, have to be or already have been modified to fit a US car. We will modify them before they are shipped and I should point out that it is a complete kit that also includes the seal and the push pin clips.
