I read the article. IMO, it's a POS. I've never read anything in that magazine so biased before. They all like the G35, but it losses in the subjective ratings by 5 points and in price by 10 points, Geez as tested there was less than $1K difference in price. They even call it ugly, but say it's appealing because there's nothing else like it. What is it a dog? Ya, maybe it is!!!

I don't disagree with the RX-8 "win" in the R&T test. The RX-8 has won every comparison test it's ever been in (I think), whether it's C&D, R&T, Edmunds, or otherwise, so I don't doubt the R&T result. And I'm sure the RX-8 is a great car. At the same time, I still would not trade my G35 for an RX-8. I believe the G is the better car for me, and that's all that matters.

See, the problem with these comparisons is that they don't factor in relevant stuff such as reliability, service quality, brand track record, resale value, and stuff like flooding the engine, reported problems and so on.
