Cost of Oil Change in SF bay area?
Dear Fellow G35 owners:
I wanted to inquire what dealerships in the SF bay area typically charge for a standard oil change. I brought my car in to Peninsula Infiniti in Redwood City for my first oil change (@3,700 miles). The service rep recommended that I have my tires balanced, in addition to the oil change at a cost of $91. I thought balancing tires after 3,700 miles was unnecessary and went with the "basic" oil change for $51. Is this what other dealerships charge? Also, have any of you been urged to have the tire balancing service every 3,700 miles? Thanks in advance!

I think the Marin Infiniti's oil change is around 35 dollars, i"ve called three other dealership in area, they all want around 50!!! did my first oil change at pleasnton, and that's my last!....since then i've been doing oil chang at local oil/lube/car wash place for 35, with full service car wash.

Since I've bought my G I've received like 900 coupons for 34.99 oil changes at the dealer. Dunno why I'm getting such a high volume, but I think I can get $35 oil changes for the next two years (Although I'd rather start doing it myself).

Has anyone considered getting their oil changed at a Nissan Dealership? I imagine that it would be considerably cheaper than at an Infiniti dealership. I ask because I used to own a Lexus GS400, and I would consistently get quotes for $55-$60 oil changes from Lexus dealerships... instead I took it to Toyota would have them change the oil for around $30...
Just a thought.... anyone do this??

go to quaker state..they charge 60 bucks for synthetic..and u get that full service..wa ever they call it there..
