Hi going to buy a shift **** but theres a "Reverse lock" and non version ... which one is the G35 coupe?

Whats reverse lock anyways? I read about it but didnt really get it...

 

Im not sure but i think its when you try to put in in reverse you have to press it down before it shifts in instead of just letting you shift to reverse.

 

I'm wondering if thats what it means too..., could someone post some definite info?

 

On some vehicles reverse lock is a slide switch on the shaft of the shifter. It moves up the shaft when you want to engage reverse. To do so it needs to slide up into the shift ****, hence some cars require this particular ****. The G35 6spd does not have this action as it's push down to engage reverse, so you need a std **** without RL.
