G35 And Life Changes?

So think back to when you first hopped in your G (brand new, used, whatever it might have been when it became yours) and reminisce about what changes you may have made to your life because of the optimism the new purchase gave you.

For e.g. I...

Dressed better
Stayed constantly groomed
Washed my hands before ever entering the car
Kept the interior prestine
Stopped eating/drinking inside of the car
Rescued baby seals from imminent danger as poaches descended upon them

Go...

Most people don't even change their lives too much to impress a new girlfriend... let alone something as insignificant as getting a new car. Why would a person who doesn't already do so to begin with start to dress better or stay constantly groomed just because they have a nice car?

Your first 2 changes were mine too, i just don't want to spill coffee onto my shift boot or lose a goldfish between the seats.

Also, washing my hands to avoid that gross buildup on the shift **** or power window buttons

HAHA! me too (minus the lady part, replace with dude), it just kinda inspired me to take more time to try and look as good as my car.

I saw a sexy F430 today, and the ugliest, dorkiest lookin dude driving it. I cant be uglier than my car.

my old car was dropped, i had to pre-plan every entry into any parking lot for fear or scrapes over speed bumps, avoid upper levels of parking garages, etc so i know how that goes

well I went from a '98 camry so when I got this for my 18th birthday I have confidence I never felt. instead wearing cheap $5 sunglasses I know have 2-$125 oakleys and have probably spent 3 times more on clothes. i am not afraid of blazing the music up in my car and having people laugh anymore cuz they know the just my engine oil cost more then the outfit they are wearing! I try not to act cheap anymore, I wash my car atleast 3 times a month.

Paid the same amount in maintenance costs as the price of another car!
