^yea true, membership fee is so gay. Im fighting for my $7.14 lol. And I did not even apply for the membership. This site is trying to scam and take money away from customers.

lovemyg88 - I would say that a poor experience with rockauto is a very rare occasion. You're the only one here talking about this mysterious membership fee and I've never had that problem with at least 5 orders at rockauto. It's very hard to beat their prices and they took very good care of me when I received an incorrect coolant hose due to a Gates cataloging error. I can't find any relevant google results for the keywords "rockauto membership fee". Are you sure you didn't sign up for a warranty or that the charge isn't coming from some other direction? If rockauto was trying to "scam and take money away from customers" they wouldn't have a BBB rating of A+.

I know their prices are hard to beat but I dont know why there is a membership fee. I'll go and ask my bank but what i see in my bank statement online is a membership fee. And yes, Im sure I did not sign up for anything. I placed my order just like any other orders. I'll update and let you guys know about this after I confirmed with my bank.

Did you try sending them an email at service@rockauto.com?

I got my filters today. They are not Charcoal filters, they are just like the OEM one. I dont have time to change the filter so I can not compare the size. I'll do it later and let you guys know about the fitment. As for the Membership, I confirmed with my bank and it was a mistake from the bank

^x2 these are not charcoal filters. I don't know if you were mistaken or they goofed and sent you the wrong part#. Despite not being charcoal, I can't really complain for the price. Installed mine earlier this week and fits like OEM. They're the same size as far as I can tell.

I've just got mine installed. Fitment is great, same size as OEM filer and I dont have to add anything to the sides to prevent unfiltered air. I took the OEM filter out and put the new filter in and Im done. It is not charcoal but the price is unbeatable.

Just purchased and installed the Fram Freshbreeze in cabin air filter from O'Reilly's. $17.11 total. Installation was a breeze. Only took 30mins and half that time I was researching the correct direction to put the filter in. Now that I know (air flows top-to-bottom) the next time it will take 10mins to install. My old filter was filthy! See pics below.

WTF are all those leaves doing in your in-cabin filter??? I didn't think stuff that big could get up there. You definitely needed a change.

I dont think the Air Flow is important but it is always better to follow direction. And yes, Air Flow will go from top to bottom. Is that the Charcoal air filter? $17.11 total is a good price for a Charcoal filter. I'll try Charcoal filter next time.

Yeah dude it was pretty bad. Acorns and twigs and sh@t. I don't think the original owner ever changed the filter.
