Gas door doesn't open (not the lock, spring maybe?)

Garyc where can I find this for 15 bucks? Dealership told me 30. All I need is the rubber accordion

This same problem happened to me recently on my 03.

All I did was manually Pop it out from the trunk. I then lubricated the plastic part with silicone, and now it works again as good as new. It appeared that the part was just getting stuck due to old age.

Did anyone ever find a replacement (OEM or aftermarket) for this rubber Accordion/boot thing that goes over the fuel door actuator?

I need to fix mine as the lock was broken off by the previous owner. I thought mine just didn't work!
