Hi all,

I have owned a G35 (2003 model) for a couple of years now and haven't really done any maintenance on it. It has 100,000KM on it now - I bought it at 60,000KM.

The dealer says I need to do the following and I'm wondering which items are a rip off and which make sense and should be done now:

Rear Links ($186)
Drive Belts ($169)
Transmission Service ($168)
Rear Diff Fluid ($98)
Coolant Flush ($135)
Throttle Body Service ($98)

drive belts are about $35 from Nissan & ez to change.

Take it by your local Nissan dealer and get their prices. You will save some $$$

At this point, after that many miles, you probably need all of that done.

 

whats throttle body service?

 

Back in the day, I had a 5.0 Mustang and, they did that when they did the fuel injector cleaning service. They disconnect the throttle body, spray some stuff into it, and clean all of the gunk out. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

never go to an infiniti dealer out of warranty. They will rip you off as soon as look at you.
