I had the same problem and I've been annoyed by the sound a lot especially when driving the car somewhat aggressively i hear a chatter when the car is in neutral, but I have went to many dealerships and they all tell me that it is normal. They tell me that the reason it chatters is because it is a dual mass fly.

 

I had mine in the dealer the other day, waiting on a call back. they are possibly going to replace my clutch etc. We'll see. mine is loud! Lady at the drive through at McDonalds was like...."is your car ok" (lol).
