double din/speaker Question annoying problem

ok so i just installed an Eclipse avn52d < i think thats the model i forget at the moment., well anyways its a dvd/nav.. and i dunno the speakers just don't give out the nice crips tone, its real light and the sub i have in the back 10"in isn't being used as much. is it that the bose speakers dont work well without its bose head unit? beacause when the OEM was in there the system with the sub sounded awesome. ... ive been messing around with the levels on the Eclipse to adjust the sound but .. it doesn't sound as nice and smooth as before.

any tips? advice ect.?

thanks

Ugh... that be a pain If I had to take it out.. it was installed by a licensed specialist. ...
I just think I remember seeing someone post that the bose speakers don't work well with aftermarket
Units
