So, my wife and I decided to buy a second car, a white 2005 G35 6MT Coupe. Two weeks ago we spot one we like on Craigslist, test drive it and put in an offer. Being an impulse shopper, I want to take the car home that night, but turns out there is a lien on the car. That has to get paid off first before it can be released and titled in my name. Total buzz kill. Almost 1 1/2 weeks later, still waiting on the stinkin' title. Oh, well, I hope that it's still fun when I get the car.

So, there isn't reallly a place to introduce myself, I figured I would do it here and say Hello to everyone here. I have been trolling around on these pages the last week, eager to do things like "zaino" my car, put in a new system in place of the crappy bose (so called "premium") audio system, etc. and now we are just waiting on the title to get things moving.

So, just a few preliminary questions... (i have searched)

This is a white car with a clear bra set up...pretty much on half the car. Now, if I want to get a crazy shine like on some of the pictures on zaino's website, what do I do with the clear bra stuff? I know it's a good protectant, but will it get in the way of great looks, or can I shine those sections up real good too?

I am going to have a mechanic do a once over on the car...any particular spots that I should have him pay special attention to? (other than the oil and trans problems)

Lastl,y for any of the Arizonan's out there, I live in South Phoenix, do you know any good shops that you take your cars to? I don't really feel like going to a pepboys or the stealership...Thanks for any info.

Enjoy the ride my man. Personally I love the bose system in my baby, i just added the JL CLEAN SWEEP and JL Stealth Box and a JL amp to push the 10'' W 0.........PERFECT SOUND. But there is something else that beats the BOSE AND JL setup. Roll down the window and listen to the orchestra coming out the exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yeah would have to agree. I love the sound of my HKS exhaust and ztube/popcharger combo.
