60k miles - Tranny flush or just a tranny drain and fill?

Hi

2005 G35 coupe, 5AT, 60,000mi. My wife drives the car 85% of the time and it doesn't get much over 4k RPMs. I drive it 15% and get on it pretty good.

I have not changed the tranny fluid yet. Just passed 60k miles. I would like to get your input on if I should just do a partial drain and fill with Nissan J fluid or do a tranny flush. The local Infiniti dealer wants $250 for the flush. After reading here I will check the local Nissan dealer to see if they are cheaper. Also have read a few posts that a flush is not recommended if the fluid has not been changed before 60k. Thoughts? Partial drain/fill or flush or don't touch it? Much appreciate the advice.

Other 60k maint items:

Differential fluid has not been replaced either. I will do that myself with the Amsoil SVG that many of you recommend

Coolant: Seen conflicting posts on this. Should I just replace it at 60k or wait until 5 years?

The rest of the things on the 60k service list I can do myself with the help of the posts in this forum...Thanks.

I just had all my fluids changed at Nissan, (25K) saved myself some major $! You really need to do the flush, that should have been done at 30K miles.

^ Agreed the flush should've been done at 30k but you really should get it done. Is there a possibility of doing more harm than good at this point? Yes but given the fact you don't drive the car hard, it should be ok. I never did a tranny flush at 30k but just did it at 60k. *knock on wood* it's been 2 months, driven to vegas and back, no problems.

Had my 60k done at a reputable shop here in Socal. $300 OTD

o Replace engine oil with Fully Synthetic Motor Oil and Nissan Oil Filter
o Replace automatic/manual transmission fluid with Nissan J-Matic Transmission Fluid
o Replace differential oil
o Replace engine air filter with Nissan Engine Air Filter
o Replace engine coolant/flush system
o Replace in-cabin microfilter with Nissan In-cabin Air Filter
o Inspect all lights, tires, suspension parts/axles, brakes/pads/rotors/lines, exhaust, ball joints

Thanks for the advice. Much appreciated.

Just called our local Nissan dealer. They want $205 for the tranny flush. However they use BG synthetic. Said I could use the Nissan Jmatic if I wanted to.

Coolant flush is $119. Still looking for input on if I need to do that at 60k miles.

Differential fluid drain/fill was $90. Still going to do that myself. Just wanted to know what they charge.

Damn LjN 728 - That is a great price for all those services. Which I could find that deal.

Given the free loaner I will probably do the tranny service at the Infiniti dealer.
