Red face New projects for my 04 coupe!

i went to la in june and 2nd day i got there someone hit and run my fendor, headlight, bumper. estimate at my shop was about 1500 and my hit n run deductible was 1000 so i decided not to claim insurance. the shop owner said to bring my car in and theyll fix it for free =D. they took it in yesterday and i purchased some stuff to begin new projects for my car. Ill update these everytime i work on them and do big parts. If anything, might even write DIYs for all of them.

up first:

1) Painting inner part of tail lights: I took these off today and started working on one of the tails. first time using a cutting tool (im pretty much car and tools noobie) and cut the tail light open. I found out i actually scratched a whole chunk in the inside side of the red lense. Oh well. Used wool to scuff all the chrome off the housing and painted it with some satin black paint. Sprayed 3 layers and called it a day.

(comparison)

(scratch)

UPDATE: FINISHED TAIL LIGHTS!!!

2) Projector Fog Lamps w/ 3k HID: I bought HELLA OPTILUX 1100 PROJECTOR fog lamps for around $65 and a ebay hid kit for $60. Im planning to put the fog lamps behind the stock bumper's grills like a lot of other members here placed them. Havent thought of where to mount the fog lamps yet but ill update it later.

UPDATE: FINISHED FOGLIGHTS!!!

(The 3000k bulbs i got were some mini bulbs so they looked horrible so i bought and changed to different bulbs and color. I also didnt want to cut any plastic parts inside so i placed em closer to the middle and i actually like it =]. i had super white leds in my side markers then placed them in my DR lights since i was taking off the bumper then replaced my sides back to the ugly stock color. and yes, i know the fogs output suck but i just got these for the looks so i dont wanna hear any flames -.-)

3) Cleaning up the nasty **** off my Volk GT-7s: Apparently, my GT-7 rims loves to collect dust off my brembos and eventually got dust that wont come off from regular washes. Also, they are beginning to get ugly rainbow stains around the polished lip. So im gonna try to bring it back to stock finish.

i hope i can finish these soon!!!
