I found an ING replica kit for $969. It is made out of fiberglass, does anyone know if these are worth buying and will the fitting be alright? The site says 95% fitment rate. What are the real body kits made out of and what is the difference between that and the fiberglass?

 

my friend purchased a INGS replica about 2 weeks ago, and the fitment was absolutly horrible. all four pieces are uneven on both sides, and it was laid by what looks like 1/2 ounce fiberglass, very thin. He ended up spending about 900 more to get it to fit and painted with lots of coats to protect the thin fiberglass. That front lip as of 2 days ago was cracked by a pebble on the freeway so he described.. Def. a big NO GO on this one!

Stay away from fiberglass bodykits. They most often do not fit properly and require some modification, and they break/crack easily. Save yourself from headaches, pay the extra for urethane kits.
