Question Front axle CLUNK !?

Ive been noticing this for the past month or so, but when i shift into reverse and push on the accelerator a little, i hear this clunk coming from the front/engine bay. i know its not the rear axle click, bc i had that fixed already. Has anyone encountered this problem ?

Thanks , Justin

Good luck on this one, I took my coupe in for a cracking sound coming from my drivers window, the tech says he heard it doing what yours is doing, Said was a TSB i've never seen or heard of this one yet. so they replace both of my axel arms or something like that, now when i go over 45mph the steering wheel shacks like crazy.

Took it back today we'll see what they say or do. I hope you don't get the shacking. Also anyone else have this cracking sound from the window they have replaced the whole door gasket ect.. still doing it, you hit a bump and it makes a crack sound.

thanks,

I had the exact same thing on mine...

I took it in and it turned out to be a broken motor mount. It only makes the sound when in reverse because the engine is torquing a different direction in reverse. Thats what the tech told me at least. Anyways I got my motor mounts replaced and it does not make the sound anymore. No its not that cheap. I was having some other work done when they replaced them so I can't say exactly how much just that work would cost.
