Help with my FIRST G35...!!!

Im lookin at this 2003 G35 Coupe has 71k miles blue loaded bose 6 speed sunroof ect...

He is asking $12,500... I have priced Alot of them at +14k so figured what the heck, Went to bank today got the loan pulled out cash for it and TONIGHT when I can a carfax it comes back in 2003 as having minor rear impact in parking lot and the car hoped curb 2 months after and hit stop sign, was repaired and inspected clean and clear title so had I not checked carfax I wouldnt know, the car drvies smooth no pulling either which way...

Is this a good deal?!?

or when I go to sell the car will those accidents come to hurt me, after all they are 6 years old and 61k miles ago...

If you don't mind the accidents, lower the price down based on that accident. You can definitely find lower for a 2003 though w/ no accidents.

whats a fair price for it. He is meeting me half way * 2 hours * to check it out... Its the only blue one I have found LOCALLY...

How many people check carfax? I do on EVERY CAR for obvious reasons, and have not owned a car with any such accident ever reported...

What "issues" did you have with your vettes? I had a h/c/i 99 frc and never had any issues other than normal wear and tear.

I was in the same situation as you.

Car I was looking at was high mileage with a minor accident.

Once I got a price from the guy, I brought two cashier's checks, one for $500, the other for $500 less than his asking price.

Tell him you have the check in hand (show it to him) for that amount and that's all you'll do.
- Most probably, he'll do it
- if not, use the other $500 to pay the full amount

As for a deal, it's pretty good. Your area will make a diff, but I bought my 04 loaded minus nav with 74k miles for $12.5k
