Need Help Quick...Better Deal??

Hi, I need to purchase a car in the next few days and am set on a g35 coupe. As of now, I have 2 options and was wondering which was a better deal:

Option 1:
2004 g35 coupe
53k Miles
Navigation
Spoiler
Price: 15k

Option 2:
2005 g35 coupe
52k Miles
No Navigation and No Spoiler
Price: 16k

Both of the cars are in similar condition and the only difference is year, color (I like both colors), and no Navi and spoiler on 05. Which do you guys think is a better deal, if they are good deals anyways?

Thanks for the help!

Deal-wise they're not bad.

As for which you want, this is tough. The are priced the proper difference due to the year.

Personally, I would get the 04 since it seems fully loaded.

If you want the refreshed interior, get the 05.

ooo tough choice... i love my 05 and the only thing i would want from the 03-04's is the stock brembos. other than that interior is much nicer and you get a revup if you are going 6mt! if you are getting at well then you dont get the brembos anyway...

seriously just go look at them though and see if you are okay with the older interior, i know i wasn't.

Another option is a white 04 w/ 56k miles, NO navigation for 14,300. If I buy an OEM g35 coupe navi system from someone, how much would it cost to install?

Do you want a luxury car, or a luxury sports car? The 04' is less refined in terms of luxury than the 05' but it acts more like a sports car (term used loosely, 280hp vs 298 for 05) but the fully loaded 04 is not something you would regret

You can always add performance... you cant add luxury. Go for the 05.

Refreshed interior. The Nav is a joke (I have the 05 with NAV) for 800 Bucks you can get a custom inbuilt Nav/bluetooth/MP3

Make sure you get the warranty... im about to get 5yr 100k on mine for $1400

Good luck!

^^acts more like a sports car??? how so?? the cars aren't that different lol....

and i agree with unwise..... hmmm that doesnt sound good.. anyway, forget the navi. i have it in my 05 and it is nice but it would be 100000000x better with touch screen technology. instead put that money towards a double din aftermarket headunit that has better navi and better sound and a lot of other, better, features.

Another question, I went and saw a 04 coupe yesterday with 54,600 miles. The car was in overall good quality with only a few blemishes on the exterior and a little deep scratch here and there on the leather. The only problem was that sitting in traffic, it was lightly rear ended and there is a small, almost unnoticeable crack on the right side of the rear bumper with some scratches around it. It was claimed so it does show up on the carfax. Also, I would be the 3rd owner of this car. Is it ok to buy an 04 coupe from a 2nd owner. Also, is this car worth it for 13,500 even with that small accident. Like I said, it is pretty unnoticeable. Thank you

if they're both automatic...they'll both be 280hp. Nevertheless, in performance wise...you'll see no difference. If they're the 6MT, go with the 04 since it'll have the brembo's and an engine less likely to get the oil consumption issue. The 05 6MT will have the 298hp but more likely to get the OC issue.

OP, You should test drive the 05 next and check it's carfax. That will help you narrow your decision down.
