Should I Powdercoat the OEM's on my IP Coupe?

Or is it better to get them painted?

I want to go with black, but would a dark grey look nice or gold?

Here is what she looks like right now...

Painting is worthless, Power coating is a lot durable. also go with a nice gun metal grey or black (flat, semi gloss or gloss)

Black or dark gray if you ever were to do so. Any actual COLOR looks just trashy.

Edit: I guess gold or a bronze wouldn't be bad either thinking about it, just get the job done right. I've seen some painted stock rims lately and it just looks so bad and cheap for such a higher class car that it is.

Gunmetal powdercoating is next for my IP coupe. Somehow, it's not so much curbing as well as just slight damage that the wheels have from having my tires changed. I'll make sure and alos get Michelin SP2's on there next year. Cheaper than getting new wheels and will retain an OEM look to the car.

powder coating is way better. but personally me i dont think that the 18's are not worth powder coating. dont mean to sound like a dick or anything. like 2K6G35c said it would be cheaper getting new wheels. i think that it may only look good on 19's oems but like i said thats me. if you do end up keeping them and powder coating them i think that black or gold/bronze would be the best

powder coating
rattle can is not the way to go.
even if u prep it and sand it and all the time in the world, it still would not come nowhere close to powdercoating

I'd sell them and get OEM 19's or go aftermarket.

IMHO, I don't think the OEM 18's look good painted black on IP and painted OEM's look cheap if not done right. Add, brake dust, knicks and scratches, and curbage and it will look cheaper. No offense to anybody, just stating opinion.

If you want black, just go aftermarket.
