I'm new to the board and I was wondering if anyone had any input on my problem...

It happens every once in a while but my radio will stop working and no noise will come out of my speakers. I can raise the volume as loud as I want but nothing comes out. It usually happens when I'm driving for more than an hour or so.


It starts working again when i turn my engine off and then on again a few hours later. Anyone else have this problem?

 

My dad did on an older infiniti. He would just hit it and it would come back on. Not recommending it but its always what comes to my mind first.

 

check the power to your amp, if there is anything loose in that connection it has a tendancy to act like that.
