hey guys, ive been hanging around this site now for the past 3 months or so, and ive had my G for about 2. i love it so far. its an 05 auto OB w/ navi. just wanted to post some pictures to see what you guys think. right now its about as stock as you can get.

i want to start out with some aesthetic mods first off. im definetely going to tint the windows with my next pay check. im thinking 20% in the front and 10% in the back with a 10% brow. clear corners. i know most people are a fan of the '05 spoiler but i just dont think its for me. probably going to get that taken off, i think it makes the car look sleeker. also, im impartial to whether or not to debadge. i would never take everything off, imo it makes it look cheap, but i cant decide whether to remove G35 and INFINITI or just g35...or just INFINITI haha. i also plan on painting the grill black so i have a floating mt. fuji. down the road id also like to powder coat the rims a sort of charcoal color.

anything else you guys would recommend? i have much to learn about the G, but ive really enjoyed it so far! i had a 2000 BMW 328i for the last 3 years since i started driving and ive got to say i like this way more.

 

I'm probably going to debadge this weekend and just leave teh mt. fuji and remove the infiniti/g35 because i dont like it completely empty either.

tint is def a must. clear corners give nice aesthetic feel as well.

 

I would say debadge everything except the mt. fuji. Clear corners make a big dif for the price. Then lower it and it will look a lot better. Congrats on the car tho very nice

 

i think im leaning towards just the mount fuji as well.

 

my car is pretty stock as well (cept clear corners) and i agree it needs to be lowered just a bit, to get rid of the clearance in the wheel wells, im not looking to slam, just to enhance the look and improve performance

 

car looks good. you should lower your car. with ither spring or coils your choice with some rear camber for sure. if you do end up keeping your wheels get some spacers to give it a cleaner look. but car looks good. i have the same but its an 04

Tint, clears and debadge that will make for a very clean ride. Don't get caught up in all the mod action like the rest of us....once bitten! Ouch!!

Start with tint.....springs/coils......wheels.....

As for debadging, I was happy just removing the "INFINITI"....leaving Fuji and G35.

Lastly......that looks like a surfboard spoiler ('03-'04), or am I just seeing it wrong. If it is, I agree to take that off.....I actually like my '06 spoiler.
