I think that you can get all of the spoiler and premium options without getting the 18s. Your problem might be that all of the cars on the dealers lot that have full options will most likely already have the 18s installed.

Concerning the 03-04 models: besides larger wheels, I know you get 'limited slip' as well in the performance wheel pkg, so I guess you must deside if its worth it or not.

You can always sell the rims if you don't want it anymore

The thing I hate is that you HAVE to get the tire/wheel package if you want the aluminum colored center console. It sures looks better than without it.

Is the limited slip on the 2003 Coupe with the Tire/Wheel Performance package?

I'm pretty sure that they did only come with the wheel package in '03.

Here's a great explanation of how differentials work if anyone is interested.

Re: Is performance wheel package really necessary

Well my decision was easy not to get the wheel package. Here in DC we don't get much snow but get a lot of crazy weather. The problem with the 18's is they are summer performance tires and the 17's are all season. I figure I'll get the 17's and keep those as my winter tires/wheels and get a new set of nice rims and summer tires later. To me this makes more economical sense. Sure you can get the 18's and then sell them but then what do you have for the winter? You'd be getting 2 sets of wheels/tires then right? Plus, I actually like how the black looks instead of the titanium. It flows really well with the center console and the same color.

Re: Is performance wheel package really necessary

These were all taken the day I bought the car. As far as the interior pics... That one looks really "purple" with the mats and all. I have since put rubber all-season mats in there and it makes it look a lot better and it remains all black.

If you want more pictures for the interior please remind me on late tuesday or wednesday. I will try and take some then but I am installing a new sub in the trunk and hard-wiring a radar detector so my interior will look even better :-)
