Drive to 30mph, then slam on the brakes. Drive to 40mph, then slam on the brakes. Drive to 50mph, then slam on the brakes. It's a pattern like that....usually when I go to 30-40mph and slam on the brakes once or twice, it gets rid of the squeaking.
I don't think you have to worry about bedding the brakes too much because the car has Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) so the brake system is always trying to make sure all 4 pads are experiencing even wear.

Ok....first you offer to buy them a round of Tequila shooters....then you have to dance with them, preferably a slow dance......and act sensitive......
Oh wait.......Sorry...I thought you said Bimbos.
Nevermind.

Re: How do you bed the Brembos?
An even film requires that you slowly work up to 600-700F pad temperature. Each 60 mph to zero adds about 150F. ONE 120 mph to zero adds 500-600F. One 150 MPH stop adds almost 950F [at the end the rotors will be less because the air speed did some cooling] MAYBE.
Surprises occur when you exceed the previous peak temperatures [by 100F] or wait too many weeks [the transfer film wears off] between exercising the brakes.
The weight of rotors is primary determinant of rotor/pad temperature rise.

The proper technique is spelled out in detail on brembos website. I've cut and pasted it before, but this time you've gotta do the leg work.

Re: How do you bed the Brembos?
"NO MORE THAN 35-40" mph about 10 x's with intervals no more than 1/3 of a mile with 5-10mph drops. Then drive without hitting them real hard for about 300 miles. Then after 300 miles I made 3 hard 60-0 stops. (This all directly out of Stillen's book). This was the way I broke them in. But then again, maybe I am on the wrong damn topic b/c no one answered my questions about how to break the new rotors and pads in!! dam-mit! lol Anyone have any other opinions?
