Stuck shift stick Help!!!

My little nephew pulled down on the shift stick while I had my foot on the brake and the car turned on, now the shift stick its stuck on tiptronics and wont move back to auto.

There's also no display on the dashboard that says what gear the car is on, it just blank, and now I cant even take out the key.

could there be a blown fuse or something thats making the stick not move or something, am very desperate here

This is so strange and unusual, I haven't seen this before or even heard of it. I'd start by removing the negative side of the battery for a hour to see if that won't clear this issue. If that doesn't fix it you may have to visit your local dealership, this is very strange.... Ban you nephew to the back seat forever.

Haha yeah, he wont be sitting in the front no more.

Anyways I got it fixed thanks to this thread
https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...ter-stuck.html

Basicly I had to remove the whole shift console, loose the 4 bolts holding the shift assembly to the plate with 10mm socket lifted it up a little bit then wiggle the shift stick around and it snapped back into place. (thanks god)

I was just about to call the dealer.
Thanks to this site saved a few bucks and a trip to the dealer
