what color is your Coupe?

i also have a 04 G35 Coupe, mines Diamond Graphite.
My g35 came with the ugly side moldings and i took them off ,
on a cold winter day(stupid me) so when i pulled the moldings off
it left the shadow of the molding. so i had to put the moldings back on

other than leaving marks behind, is there really a reason to keep them on?
