I was just wondering if it was more difficult to purchase G35C's along the east coast as opposed to the west coast because it seems as though the west coast dealerships, especially the LA area where I am from, have a substantial inventory of G35C's with a wide variety of options.

 

The dealer I bought from (sedan) Jim Coleman in Bethesda MD never has many coupes. Sometimes none. Currently has 42 sedans and 5 coupes.

 

Winner Infiniti in Newark, DE never has any 6MT coupes. I test drove a 5AT but all the manuals that come in are already pre-sold. I had to test drive a 350Z manual to see what the G would hopefully feel like.

From what I have seen for the last 2-3 months, there are no coupes available in Houston. (3 dealers) When I left a deposit in early Feb., there was a sold car on the showroom floor to look at, and one that was being delivered. When I picked mine up in early March, it had been on the lot for about 3 hours. I actually unlocked it so a potential buyer could look at it! There were 4 others from the same delivery - all sold. I was at the dealer this weekend - no coupes, except 1 in for service. I left a deposit w/o a test drive (drove a 4 door sport pkg.), drove it when it came in, bought it and left with it. Strange way to buy a car, but I have no regrets.
