On both sides (marked with the red circle) there is a thin layer of (tape??) that goes over the body. Its the same color as the body. and its definitely "peelable".

whats this for? can i tear it off? cuz the edges are starting to peel....

thanks all.

it's a clear plastic film to protect your paint from rocks and **** that your tires throw that way.

Every G has it

Carefully cut off the area where it's lifting with a razorblade and leave it alone, like Joker mentioned it belongs there to protect the paint....

Yeah... I'd leave it there as well. There's always so much debris, scuffs and gunk stuff stuck to that clear-bra material on the side of the car whenever I wash it. I guess the aerodynamics of the car cause that spot to be scratch/ding prone.. so don't remove them.

I never knew what that was either, ...you'd figure that they would've/should've made something like that for the whole front end I surely need something for the front bumper.

if anything you should replace it.

if u are broke and do not have money, get a thing razor blade (like gary said) and CAREFULLY trim the edges so that the part that is not stickable will not be dangling.
