Rev Limiter Broken

2006 g35 coupe sport,aero,premium, fully loaded
Hey guys I was driving my G around and I got to a stop sign and revved up to 2k and let off the clutch now whenever I go after 2000rpm the rev light starts blinking than at 3000 it stays solid all the way out until the rpm drops below 2k. any suggestions?

It sounds like you have the shift light set at 2k rpm. You have no performance issue, right? The light is just coming on? You can change the set point for the light by pressing the trip reset button a couple of times 'till you see the shift light setting, then hold it down until you get to your desired rev.

you know it's just a light, you can just ignore it, unless that's what you use to shift, then that's a whole different story

Set it to 7k so u dont see it all the time, i remember when i first got the car it was set at 3k and i learned to ignore the light until i figured how to change it.

click your oil change reset button.
First one is Trip A
Second is Trip B
Third is shift blinking point you wanna set at.
Hold it, find the desire rpm that fits you and leave it alone.

Done
