What's up with the furry cubby holes?

I put a couple things in the flip-up cubby hole above the dash, and when I went to pull it out, I got all this black fuzz on my hands. That stuff is nasty, why did Infiniti put that in the car? I hope the 05's don't have it....actually, I hope they do have it, so I won't be jealous.

Anyone know of how to get rid of that stuff or cover it up? It's also in the center armrest cubby.

Doesn't scratch stuff like CD's .. expensive sunglasses .. watches .. cell phones .. jewelry that your girlfriend needs to remove before you do business with her in the back.

I prefer my (cubby) holes shaved, not furry

Good point about it being soft...although CD's would get a bunch of the black debris on them.

I always use that one and don't get any fuzz.
