I am trying to buy the bluetooth control unit for my 2007 coupe. It is missing from my car completely, but I can't seem to buy it anywhere. I placed an order on InfinitiPartsUSA.com and a few days later they cancelled it saying it is unavailable. So I then called a dealer and asked if I could just order one from them. He started the process of ordering it and then said that it is unavailable to order unless he is returning a defective unit. The Infiniti Part Number is 28335-CM40A. I am going to start looking at junk yards to find it, but I thought I would check with you guys also. If any of you have that part and are wanting to sell it, let me know. It's an $80 part from the dealer and it is the only thing preventing my bluetooth and the steering wheel controls for the radio from working. I even contacted the company that manufactures the part (Model Electronics) to ask why you can't just buy this part. They told me that I should be able to and to call the dealer again, but they only sell to dealers so I can't just buy it from them. I have called 3 dealers locally and none of them seem to be able to order the part. I also asked Rick from Riverside Infiniti and he can't get it either. Am I just SOL?

 

heard the oem BT suck anyway.. go aftermarket.

 

Well I plan to go double din nav eventually, but for such little money I thought it'd be nice to have the functionality until I go that route.
