My new Gialla grill

I just got my Gialla grill installed. I posted here to get some opinions on it. It seems the "traffic" is much higher here so I want to see what you guys think.
Thanks.

Re: My new Gialla grill

I guess I was more looking for people who liked the Gialla grill.

I like the way it loooks, you should really add the infiniti logo to make it perfect....nice job!

Re: My new Gialla grill

I'm definitely adding the Infiniti logo (it's on the way). I'm just wondering about whether I should leave the center strip painted in DG or if I should paint it black. Of course, I might be too lazy to remove the grill to paint it...

Re: My new Gialla grill

Got my Gialla grille about a year ago and the center metal piece was covered in black plastic. Did you find that they had sanded the grille in several places? I had to have mine professionally painted gloss black because their sanding left the surface dull in several places. I added the gold plated Infiniti logo to the center. It looks like it is floating out there.

Re: My new Gialla grill

Yes, my grill was sanded in several places too. I guess you were supposed to paint it anyway, so that's too out of the ordinary.

Re: My new Gialla grill

I vote for painting the center piece black and no Infiniti logo. I think it looks cleaner without the logo. They often look tacked on and crooked on grilles like that.

Re: My new Gialla grill

You must have left the Infiniti emblem silver and/or chrome which goes well with the black. But, did you use the flat emblem rather than the emblem that was in the center of the OEM grille? The OEM grille emblem makes it stick out a little further.

Don't you have a problem with the lower lip hitting the concrete wheel stops installed in many parking garages or parking lots? I have the original OEM arrangement, and find that the lower bumper is completely abraded by those concrete wheel stops.

Re: My new Gialla grill

Well, I've decided that the center stripe look better if it's black so I spray painted it matte black. Tomorrow I'll have the Infiniti emblem in to complete the look.
Here's what it looks like now:

Looks good! I think it looks better without the logo

Re: My new Gialla grill

Hi:

Pimp: I think your car looks great the way it is now. The greddy 'big mouth' really looks strong when matched with the stock front grill. (At least in the pics) Adding the Gilla grill takes attention away from your 'Jaws' look.

If you get the Gilla front grill, consider NOT adding the Infiniti logo. IMHO, the stock grill would look better without the Infiniti logo. Anybody know where you can buy a grill patch plug in?

If you do go with an Infiniti logo on a black grill, consider having the logo chromed darker.
