G35 vs. Jetta Wolfburg
I was wondering who would win against the g35 and jetta wolfburg. I was looking at some other forum and someone posted G35 KILL! so i read on

I had a Jetta before and mine was supercharged. There's no way a stock jetta can beat a G35 unless the G35 wasn't pushing it which probably happened in that case. The G can kill a stock jetta all day long, End of story, I've own 5 VW's already so I know that.

I'll improve on your story. I still own a 2000 Jetta with a VR6. It won't even come close to the G35. It has some nice pull but nowhere where the G35 is. End of story.

The last post on the thread so far reads:

I happen to have a Wolfsburg Jetta with a GIAC chip putting down 189 hp to the wheels. It's pretty fast and although the car only weighs 2975 lbs compared to the G35 weight of 3400 lbs I don't believe it could take a G35 manual or auto. The guy in the thread has a stock '03 Wolfsburg which has 180 crank hp which is about 150 whp so there's no way he could lead at the end of 1/4 mile unless the other guy wasn't racing his auto G35 or didn't get a good start.

Again its a street race so anything could go wrong, maybe the G35 "kid" just didnt have their VDC off? That might give them a bad jump and then leading to the jetta thinking it won and then leading to the driver of the jetta stopping the race right when the G35 was about to gain up.
OR
The jetta beat the hell out of the G35 b/c or some sort of a miracle!
OR
The jetta is twin turbo'd (supercharged, etc) and is pulling 400hp (370 whp)!
OR
The jetta was racing a civic with a G35 look kit!
