Re: The countdown is on!

I checked the numbers for you.

6MT MSRP + 545 Dest= $32745
Adding Aero Pkg adds power sunroof automatically, which adds a total of $1550 (550 aero, 1000 sunroof)
It will come with a trunk floor mat, add $70.

Total comes to $34,365.00 MSRP
Add the dealer's processing fee and you are looking at close to 2 grand.

Hope this helps, looks like you are getting it at MSRP.
Go to Infiniti.com and build your car, print out the final specs sheet and take that with you when you close. Make sure the numbers match up line for line with the dealers.

Re: The countdown is on!

Why G35Woman, what a mouth on you! LOL! [grin]

Your problem made me curious and recheck the online "Build" MSRP versus what they charged me at "Infiniti of Raleigh". (Number 1 in "Sales & Service" for October, 2002 and number 5 in "Sales & Service" for the year of 2002. They're kinda proud of that and apparently Infiniti's way of showing their appreciation is the fact that Infiniti gave them 28 "loaners".)

Online MSRP is currently $32,165 (including dest).
My sticker price was $32,015 (including dest but no taxes or "documentary service(?)", $33,218.45 total).

So I got it for $150 less! Didn't even realize that.

So, it looks like the consensus is MSRP or lower!

If not tell them to go !@#$ themselves and find a different dealer.

Re: The countdown is on!

The list and MSRP is different every place I have checked. Screw it! I am going with 32,845 as my final price for loaded 6MT with aero, no navi. I am going to walk in there nekkid. I should get it then!

Re: The countdown is on!

There was a $150 increase in the vehicles bae price at the start of March. I think this is attributed to the subtle changes in the Coupe (like the armrest on the 6MT).

Re: The countdown is on!

The car is supposed to come with a with a sticker, which will tell you what the MSRP is. Mine was $37,465 with premium, aero, and nav -- bought in January. Take out the nav and you have $35,465.

There was a console change recently -- 6MT's should now come with an armrest. Like mchristen said, there should be a slight increase to the MSRP.

Re: The countdown is on!

I ordered mine two weeks ago loaded (except door guards and mud flaps) including XM radio and got it for MSRP of $38,015 ($37,615 + $400 XM radio). They should not charge you above that, find another dealer.

Re: The countdown is on!

$34,950 is what paid for mine. That took serious amount of haggling though, (2.5 hours). I waited till almost the last day of the month, in the evenging. So by then they were wanting to get their quota for the month. Seemed to work pretty well, got about -$500 from MSRP. I got a fully loaded 6MT minus the NAV. Just like I said they are not your friends, (though they would like you believe that). They are in the business to make money and you are shopping around to save it. Stick to your guns! Re: The countdown is on!

If you configure it on the web site that is THE MSRP, don't let them charge you those dealer promo fees or mrket adjustment crap and other things, that are just a way of gouging!! Stand your ground!
We know you REALLY REALLY want the coupe NOW. But don't let them over charge you!

Re: The countdown is on!

Thanks for all the advice. I have contacted a couple of local friends, one of which bought theirs from the same dealer, and found out what they paid. I will be prepared to deal when I go up there Friday.
