My coupe is suppose to arrive tomorrow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it comes in on time, there's not a single blemish on it, and that I can negotiate a price CLOSE to base MSRP...my dealer's price is 2k over MSRP. I may have to flash a lot of cleavage....

That must be a smaller dealer. Most are going out at MSRP. I suspect you'll have a strong chance to get it at MSRP or pretty darn close. It's a shame the 6MT is so popular and that dealers can almost get away with a 2nd sticker. Good luck. ...dean

Seriously you think??? This is a large Southeastern dealer. Seems west coast customers are getting a better deal. Do you think I should insist on msrp? Cars.com is the only site I have seen that will show an invoice and even their's is dated 9/20/02.

I could use the extra $ to get better speakers and a clear bra. Hmmmm....so I need to wear something really low cut or bring my daddy with me.

Congrats on your car. My only question is if it's a special order then how did you not negotiate a price before ordering the car? And 2k over list is bad I havent heard of dealers getting greedy and asking for more than msrp + - a couple hundred. Well good luck and something tells me you should save the clevage for the cops cause the salesman knows you wont be back for at least 3000 miles.

 

good luck...hope it come's in the way you want. take some pic's of the car. we could always use some more pic's of g35 owner's. low cut dress would work, better bring your dad. you never know if the sales man like's men rather than women? you got to brake out all the weapons!...j/k enjoy the car.

Have a male friend (or even your dad) go over there (without you, of course), pretend to be interested in buying the car, and find out what they're selling for one with the same options.

2K over is pretty high. It could be that they're jacking up the prices as allotments become thinner and thinner. I hope you're not getting that quote because you're a female. If that person isn't quoted the same 2K over, then I'd bring him along with you when you go purchase.

don't let them charge you over MSRP. That's BS. There are good dealerships out there that'll sell it MSRP or a little bit less.

I went to a few dealerships till I realized they don't need to be charging 1-3k over MSRP.

I didn't negotiate sh*t before ordering. I put down a deposit (500), which they never charged to my cc. I was told the car's sticker is 34,875 - from 2 different dealerships (Nally and Roswell Infiniti) and they have my loan approved and all that. On infiniti.com their total SRP is 32,745.

Anyone in the SE pay MSRP or higher?


And BTW, I will have a plethora of pics posted within 48 hours of delivery....don't you worry. ;-)

I don't know if you read about my little problem (check out my post on venting) but the dealer may have a car for me in two weeks. They say that they show that a car just like the one I want will be coming in on 4/11. I hope I can get it! Pray for me my friends!!!!!!
