I was just wondering what most people go by when they take their car in for maintenance work. Is it by time or mileage? I know it says in the manual whichever comes first. But does it really matter if you choose one over the other?

 

90 days is a good plan for oil unless you drive 2,500 miles per month.
If you don't have the oil changed at least every 6 months [in dealer records or acceptable personal records] you may find "great resistance to siding with you" AGAINST Infiniti - years from now if the engine warranty is called upon.

Infinti always asks - was the owner a good customer and did they perform required maintenance........what your dealer says is crirical at this point......Oh yes they spent lots of money and changed their oil frequently, they deserve the help............."ok cover it"........................as oppososed to we sold the car and never saw them again no oil change records in the computer. They brought in some faked up bills but I don't think they are real......... don't give them a loaner let the car sit we'll send someone in 2-3 weeks to evaluate it.
