Hi all,

Just bought an 04 6mt coupe with 45K miles on it and I'm in LOVE! Been lusting after the car for years and finally had the money and found one I wanted.

The previous owner told me it was due for an oil change and so yesterday I put in some mobil 1 synth and a new filter (after spending what seemed like hours taking off the damn plastic cover bolts with a hand ratchet).

However, every time I pop the nav screen up it is full black with a 'oil change needed etc' notification. I can't cancel this. I checked the oil level after driving for a few hours and it was right in the middle of the H<------>L dipstick notification, so I know I didn't overfill/underfill.

Maybe it's my newbiness with the car, but I did a quick forum search, checked the manuals for both the car and the navi, and googled and didn't find something giving me insight into how to reset the car's notification.

Anyone know if there's some button combo I have to press?

 

Click Info> Click maintenance> Click on Either Oil filter or Oil change or both if you need to reset both and click the reset on it.
