Ac issue no control over whats going on

I have a 03 g35 coupe and lately the thing has been acting up. Just purchased used about a month ago and at times the auto a/c turns on and I am not able to change anything because none of the buttons do anything on control panel also the radio works and I am able to control it using the steering wheel controls, but not any on the radio itself. The radio display also does not work, but it does light up. Anyone ever experience something like this?

One other problem I have and im not sure if its related is that my third brake light, lights up very dim. There are times when it works normally and lights up very bright, but majority of the time it is very dim. I came from an is300 and so far this thing has been nothing, but problems I hope you guys can help me figure this out before I switch cars again

Your head unit is kaflooey. Search it up, but the only cure is replacement of the head unit itself (that's what I did) with a new/refurb or aftermarket unit. I think it can also be fixed by replacing a controller(?). Search will turn it up.

lol,

I like the fact that they came out with a Nav system that didn't have a hardrive, because nowadays who doesnt have an ipod? Just keep ipod hooked up with it and you dont need a hardrive. Pioneer adds like a grand to the price cause of a harddrive. The only downfall is if you actually listen to music cd's in your car and want to use the navigation system, because you need to put the navigation cd in to use it. But if you have an ipod that won't interfere.

The navigation interface is also very good.
