New owner here of an 07 coupe. Still learning a few things with the car, one of which is the Intelligent key system.

Every once in a while the system will chirp rapidly for a few seconds after I disarm and open the door. Can't figure out what it might be. No info in the manual about it either. Thought it might indicate a triggered alarm, but that's not the case since it was just sitting in the driveway. Help anyone?

 

nope that usually either sometimes means I've left keys in the car

or

I hit the button on the handle to unlock/lock it while the door was still open

it's usually the second one.

tofu is right, it usually makes those noises when you leave the key in the car or you try locking it with the door opens. its just making sure you lock the car properly.
