G35 coupe Brakes crunching
G35 coupe Brakes crunching
Hi everyone,
I recently changed my brake pads/rotors (non-brembo) on my coupe. Prior to the installation I was experiencing a crunching noise on my brakes whenever I slowed down. I had installed brand new Hawk HPS brake pads and new OEM Nissan/infiniti rotors.
Its been about 3 weeks since the installation and the braking crunching noise has returned.
The dealership I take it to tells me the noise is simply due to aftermarket brake pads being on the car. Which I highly doubt as the pads are exactly the size of the OEM's that were replaced.
Has anyone run into this sort of an issue with their brakes? I'm wondering if there is a caliper issue where it is seizing up, or perhaps the brake fluid line isn't doing what it should? Not really sure.
