Hola guys,

I have an 04 Coupe and I can't remeber when the factory warranty ends on it. I was told like 2010ish or 70k miles...but I cant remeber...I have an issue with my driver side door not locking.

Also, does the factory warranty cover syncros? If not, are they something that can cost a lot? Thanks guys

Basic is 4years/60,000 miles and powertrain is 6 years/70,000 miles.

That said, your door locking issue will not be covered under basic warranty however your transmission issue should be, depending on how **** the dealership you go to is.

How many miles do you currently have on your G? The lower the better because it will help show factory defect versus user abuse.

Think about it, roll in with 18,000 miles with syncro issues versus 69,999 miles. Sure for the customer it doesn't matter but from the service center's POV, it does.

In regards to your door locking issue, what is it doing? Or not doing?

Provide your VIN to your local dealer's service advisors..

I recently bought a 2 year/24,000 mile Infiniti factory warranty for just this reason. I had my driver side window regulator and my stereo replaced, which probably would have cost me the same as my warranty.
