Hey everyone, all the money ive saved up to get parts for the car is gonna have to go into repairs now =(. First I hit a rock outside ATL and it bends my rim and cracks 2 of my spokes, now my check engine light came on when I was going to my friends house. The car stayed on but I wasnt getting any throttle when I stepped on the gas, I turned the car on and off about 3 times before it decided to start working again. Can anyone tell me whats wrong with it? I got a 04 auto coupe.

 

^most likely the throttle body is bad

 

its probably the same thing that happened to my 04 coupe..

shifted in to second, all my lights came on, and the gas wasnt working..

got it read at AutoZone.. Throttle Position Sensor..

Still haven't gotten it fix..

Some have narrowed it down to the PEDDLE Position Sensor...

If its the actual TPS you need to replace the throttle body.

 

I took it to autozone to get it checked out and it was the TPS... Im taking it to the dealership tommorrow to get it checked out, thank god I got a warranty haha. Bad part is I gotta go back to work monday and I live in Kentucky =(

 

Yeah I am in the process of getting the warranty transfered.. I hope its covered.. keep us posted!

who needs warranty.

 

You don't need a warranty- just replace every part that goes bad with a better aftermarket part. Cant go wrong that way!

 

Haha Now that I found I can drive on it my next thing is to get my new set of rims since one of them is bent and cracked lol, I hate Atlanta now.
