Is this a good deal?
Hey guys, sorry for another one of these but you guys are my most reliable bet on a very trustworthy/reliable answer. I came across this car- http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/cto/1394895146.html
It seems like a pretty good deal, since it has a salvage title in all, but i wanted to check with you guys and see what you thought. He claims it had rear end damage and one of the back side fenders also. But no frame damage

^ agreed
It's a good deal if you like ugly wheels with terrible offsets, a stereo system that leaves you with virtually no trunk space and a two year old car with NO warranty! If those things appeal to you, then by all means buy it!

What are offsets?

Basically the offset of a wheel controls how flush the wheel sits with the body. The wheels on that car are not flush with the body and would require ~25mm spacers all round to make them flush. Whenever you buy aftermarket wheels for a car, it is very important to consider the right offsets. I would also be wary of wheels that say "RUFF" on them
Why buy a 2 year old car with no warranty? For 5-6k less you could get a nice 2003 with no warranty and a nicer set of wheels. Keep looking until you find the perfect car, don't settle for less or else you'll regret it somewhere down the line.

I'm fairly sure you should be able to find a 2005 or newer for less than 18k. Broaden your search area a little bit if you can't.
Well, ive been searching for a month! HELP!
So do cars with a salvage title not have warranty? Or is it just the car that he showed? Sorry for thread jacking, I tend to do that a lot because I don't like making new threads to fill up the forum space.
