taking my car to dealer..NEED Driver member's inputs!!

Hey guys, need some input.

This time, my Gs been acting up lately, and my slip, VDC off and e-brake lights turn on about 2~3 min after I start my car. (3 days in a row now) It would go away if I shut off ignition and start back up, but all 3 lights goes on again shortly after.

I called my dealer to make appointment for this friday morning.

The question is, I have few bolt on mods on the G and worried about them giving me trouble with the dealer. Should I swap to stock or am I good?

here are some very mild, aftermarket, not even considered as mods, under hood of my G..

Ported upper, intake pipe, intake box, spacer, TB heater, aftermarket power steering tank.

No test pipe, no exhaust, no gutted out cat.

will they still give me crap to void my warranty?

I know this kind of question comes up alot, but please give me some assurance.

Also, how can I prevent them from blaming maintenance thats due on my car? (diff. oil, coolant flush..etc..i've been lazy only to change my engine oil) as the cause/source of my problem with warning lights?

thank you all in advance.

Depend on your dealer, most will be harsh......
swapping to stock is always the best option, but.... as the magnuson-moss warranty act says that you need to prove that the modified part affected the problem.
Though they will blame it on those aftermarket parts anyway because they make money off of their service department, and warranty work doesn't really help.
They may also use your maintenance as an excuse if it doesn't look like it hasn't been taken care of well.

Dealership visit....?

Just take your car in, unless they're really azzholes you'll be taken care of. When you do need service take your car to Nissan, as I've posted previously they use the same products, mechanics are better trained and the cost will be considerably less.... G/L
