New engines, Are they fixed?!

Well, I'm reading all these threads and people getting their engine replaced 3 - 4 times.... I am doing my oil test with the dealership and wanted to know; Are the new engines that are installed now, in 2009, fixed or not? Will they still drink oil or they haven't fixed the "problem" ?

I had mine installed about 2 months ago. So far, so good. I called the infiniti dealership to ask about these supposed new revised engines. The guy told me that they are completely rebuilt engines, and will not have the same oil consumption issues. He told me that he has been working there for 2 years and so far, no one has come in with problems on there new VQ. Sooooooo, that gave me the go ahead to start modding. WE WILL SEEEEEEEE

Curryboy; the engines that are know with this problem are the REV-UP engines, aka 2005+

Ugh... I have the non rev-up and have zero oil consumption problems, but that doesn't make me feel well. Car has 46K and the warranty expires in a year.
